Originally licensed as WN2LYO (Nov 22, 1963 – Novice Class), then WB2LYO (May 5, 1964 – General Class) in Schenectady, NY, and /9 operation from 1966-1970 while at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Re-licensed as WB8TKD (Oct 11, 1974) in Cleveland, OH. Lived in Swansea Wales from 1991-1994 but unlicensed. Received K5WAF (Sep 19, 2000) in Houston, TX; earned Amateur Extra Class on March 9, 2002.
We moved from our beautiful home in the Clear Lake area of Houston in late September 2006, temporarily moving to an apartment in The Woodlands, Texas. Though I will be off the air from a home location until about June 2008, Trish and I are happy now that I have retired (Jan 31, 2008) and we are completing the building of our new home on our 6 acre Red Oak Ranch lot in Conroe (Montgomery County), Texas.
